Dr. Brian Pike is a molecular biologist by training and heads the Global Viral Forecasting Initiative’s laboratory based efforts.  He earned his doctorate from the University of Southern California in molecular biology, where he investigated the development and progression of cancer.  Dr. Pike also holds a second graduate degree in public health from The Johns Hopkins University.
